 Edible Books is exactly as it says on the tin, edible books. No, really. Edible Books will be recipes inspired by food mentioned in books, with taste testing's of course (sorry, not by you, by us.) ;)

 

 

 

Hello again lovelies! It's Thursday, so it's Amber- and I'm back. The past fortnight we had a double edition of Cosplay Antics, so today is the first ever Edible Books post. Kirsty and I have started some layout planning for the next couple of months, for themes. We're playing safe for the first post, with a series that is a big part of ours- and everyone's childhood/life. It is in the title, so you should know what I'm talking about...Harry Potter of course! Recently, I have been re-reading the Harry Potter series, and last weekend I went to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour in London- Kirsty went back when it first opened up, so we've both been there now. That was the inspiration for this post, and to create and back some yummy noms. And let's be honest, who doesn't like Harry Potter?  You're crazy if you don't.

As I said before that little side-track, I've felt inspired, so while I was at the tour I was able to buy my very own Chocolate Frog, and while I did want to keep it, I ate it, because who wouldn't? Kirsty still has hers, she's an alien.  Since I ate it, I just had to put my own spin on it and see what I could do with it.

So, I present, my Chocolate Frogs.

This is the box the HP Tour keeps the Chocolate Frogs (and card in,) and of course I'm going to keep it to use as a prop for different things, which came in handy today with making the frogs. :)

This was so hard to choose today, I'm 28% in and have so many highlights, it's a pretty hit or miss story and the way it's written, and I don't know which side I'm on yet, so we'll see.

Review: Amity (Just Say No)

So, I'm keeping this short because 1) there's not much to say about it and 2) it's hard to even know what to say because not much actually went on.

If anyone asked describe Amity in one word it would be disturbing. Because if I said this was disappointing, my house might kill me. Firstly, let's talk about the false marketing shall we? It sounds like an Amityville Horror retelling, looks like an Amityville Horror retelling, the house is described like Amityville and It's even called Amity, so guess what it is?

Dangerous Girls was on my radar last year, and although it had all these amazing reviews I didn't think it was for me. When I saw Dangerous Boys and thought why not? Why not indeed, because oh damn. I just- NO WORDS. So this will probably be a rambling review because it's one of those that are hard to talk about without spoiling, but is so freaking mind blowing that I just want to spoil it. But, I won't. Because you seriously need to read it for yourself and get all the feelings because it is amazing and twisted with a heavy dose of psychology and is it bad to say how much I freaking love how twisted it was? It has some serious shit going on, and something like this you shouldn't really love but I did, because it was fascinating and  see? Rambling.
