Stacking the Shelves (#54) & Recap

STSmallStacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

So, how was everybody's week? The heat has been worse this week than it was last week and if the heat doesn't kill me, my hay fever will. I bought a few this week and received the best random surprise in the mail from Penguin, in the form of a little something new from Richelle Mead, which will be in my physical stack next week. Can you guess? ;) Yup. Silver Shadows. I was waiting until the series was finished to read them, but, but it's so tempting now.  I'm also rewatching Criminal Minds since I haven't watched it since season 7, and nothing says summer like serial killers, right? Also, how freaking cute was season 1 Reid?

The Bargaining sounds interesting but what truly caught my attention was Me Being Me Is Exactly as Insane as You Being You. I'm quite fan of longish or long titles rather than one-word-titles so yeah, and the synopsis promises something different. Great haul! :)

Oooo, I haven't heard of any of these - though I know of the author Eileen Cook. I haven't read any of her books though. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a fantastic week!

I hope that you are okay now, Kirsty! Do you live in Cali? I'm sorry but the only US state that I know that's really hot is Cali. The bargaining looks beautiful and at the same time, creepy. Wooooo! Congratz in getting Silver Shadows. OMG! Physical ARCs really make me envious. I swear I've already e-mailed a lot of publishers but I'm still not getting any success.

Nice haul, Kirsty. Get well soon!

Me Being Me... sounds intriguing. His debut, 33 Minutes made a big splash, but I did not care for it. I was intrigued until he chose two plot points that turned me off, both were inaccurate as hell and it took me right out of the story. Still interested in checking out his sophomore effort, though it seems it's being billed as a debut - YA that is.

Thanks for stopping by my StS.

I've seen Criminal Minds, but not watched much--is it really good? I'm working on Friday Night Lights right now, but I'll need a new show to delve into. :)

I haven't heard of any of these books! The cover for The Bargaining is striking, though, with that red! I'm going to have to look that up. I hope you love them all!

The cover of "The Bargaining" is so gorgeous! It reminds me a little of the Sinner cover by Maggie Stiefvater. I love when ARCS have true cover art!
Nice haul this week. I really like the look of The Bargaining, and it has a brilliant cover too. I have been contemplating whether to download that one or not, I might wait till a few more reviews are out. I hope you enjoy all of your books this week :) Here's my STS.
