Booking Through Thursday: Hated

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme, hosted by btt2, about (mostly) books and reading.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If there was one book you could make sure nobody ever read again … what would it be? And why?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For once, this isn't a hard question for me. I know the exact book. But, everybody's tastes are different, so if I do say  a book, it doesn't necessarily mean it's not good, it's just like I didn't find it good.  Keeping that in mind, this ones the opposite, and judging by the ratings and reviews, I'm not the only person who thinks so. Although, I did love Heartbeat by her, my pick has to be As I Wake by  and if you've read it, you'll know exactly why. Because, ugh, really?

Booking Through Thursday: Otherwise

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme, hosted by btt2, about (mostly) books and reading.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outside of books, what’s your favorite thing to read? Newspapers? Magazines? Blogs? Fanfiction? Specific websites?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I used to read loads of different Fanfiction, mainly now though I love reading lyrics, and war poetry and since I write them too, obviously I read them. Same with my own in-process writing. And of course, blogs. :)

Booking Through Thursday: Holiday Season

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme, hosted by btt2, about (mostly) books and reading.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you have a reading equivalent of holiday music to get you in the mood for the holiday season? Any books you make a point of reading this time of year?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahh, I can't say that I do. I tend to read less heavy books and more happy go lucky ones, but none that focuses on Christmas or anything like that. I'm not a really festive person (don't look at me like that) until a few days before Christmas. Probably because it eclipses my birthday. I've never forgiven myself for being born on the 23rd. ;)

What about you?
