Which is better (or preferred) … stories with multiple character points of view? Or stories that stick to just one or two at most? And, why?
Before, I would have said I'm strictly a one point of view person, I don't even know why. I just used to hate reading more than one.
Now I really do enjoy two, I guess it depends on the story and whether it merits two point of views, since there's two sides to every story and all that.
I'm still sketchy with more than two, especially if they're both male/female, and are not fleshed out enough for you to dictate which the voice belongs to. Because then I have to keep checking and that distracts me and ruins the story.
What do you think?
