Booking Through Thursday: Tragedy or Comedy?

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme, hosted by btt2, about (mostly) books and reading.

"All other things being equal (good writing, enthralling story, etc), which would you rather read—something serious, angsty, and tragic? Or something light, fluffy, and fun? Or a blend of both? (Since, really, isn’t that how real life works?)"

- I prefer Tragedy.

I love angsty books when they're done well and are not whiny. There's nothing more that puts me off a book than a whiny character. I love the type that by the end of the last page you want to throw it at the wall, (talking to you Shadow Kiss.) The type that make you feel something, and not simply forget it as soon as you start a new one.

I rarely read a light, fluffy book, (chick-it?) don't like them, basically, and when I do they pretty much bore me. It really has to be good for me to like it. I'm not saying I hate every one, but I'll only pick one up if I really need a break from all the rest.

Now, when it's entwined with angst, then yes, I prefer that over it's own.

Cover Reveal: Entice (Ignite #1.5)

If like me, you loved Ignite and it's gorgeous cover (You can read my review here) , then you'll be ecstatic to see Entices cover! (It's equally gorgeous. ) We also have an Ignite giveaway, don't forget to enter!

Before the reveal, let's learn what Entice is about.
With the aftertaste of Heaven still strong, Pen and Azael cloak themselves in their new demonic destinies, fighting for Lucifer against the angels. Pen, warring against former friends turned vengeful enemies, still struggles with defecting to Hell. But in one short battle, they go from forgotten to famous, thrust into the spotlight where she has no room for uncertainty.
Suddenly top-tiered demons, they’re tasked with seeing through hell’s new agenda: corrupting man. But tarnishing Eden isn’t as simple as they thought it would be, especially when they’re forced to work with another team of demons who are trying to claw their way up the ladder of power.
I, for one, am actually more excited for Entice than the sequel. Now, don't look at me like that. It's just there wasn't enough Azael in Ignite, and I loved the banter between the two.

Alright now. Here is Entice....
