Booking Through Thursday: Hated

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme, hosted by btt2, about (mostly) books and reading.

If there was one book you could make sure nobody ever read again … what would it be? And why?

For once, this isn't a hard question for me. I know the exact book. But, everybody's tastes are different, so if I do say a book, it doesn't necessarily mean it's not good, it's just like I didn't find it good. Keeping that in mind, this ones the opposite, and judging by the ratings and reviews, I'm not the only person who thinks so. Although, I did love Heartbeat by her, my pick has to be As I Wake by Elizabeth Scott and if you've read it, you'll know exactly why. Because, ugh, really?

I haven't read 'As I Wake', but I do recognize just reading a book and wondering whhyyyy?!?!? Sometimes you just wonder what an author was thinking!

Gosh, what a harsh topic. Hahahaha. Okay, you really got me curious and I checked Goodreads. My, my, my. The average rating is 2.95 stars. That bad? OMG! I can't just lay the blame on the author. I also have to point my fingers on the agent. I mean agents are supposed to help with steering the author to the right direction, isn't it?

Thanks for warning us about this book, Kirsty. I'll ensure that I'll avoid it at all costs. :D

Definitely equal blame, I guess it's kind of a crazy one but it really didn't pull it off at all. And it's shot. And you have no idea what the eff's going on. It's repetitive over and over and you really don't get anywhere, and there's also some really verging on vulgar scenes. Don't get it at all, and needless to say, it's in my box of 'go away' books with my DNF's. They'll have friends there. :P

Never read it, actually never heard of it, but mine would have to be 50SOG yep i hate that book series, and everything with it ugh!! i might look at the other book to see what it's about though lol
