So, how was everybody's week? Mines been good, this is a months worth of book haul, all bought, except for one I won, but otherwise, all me. I went a little mad. A little Box-Set mad, and I'm not showing you all of them in this one because that would be long. And bad.
I already own these books. I own three of The Hunger Games now, which I'm going to do a post some time showing you all of them together because the Collectors Edition is freaking gorgeous. But yeah, three editions of The Hunger Games, and two of Catching Fire and Mockingjay. BUT I WANTED THE HARDBACKS. I don't care. They're all pretty and yeah, did I need more versions of the same book? No. Did I want them? Yes. You can see what side won.
I finally own the Percy Jackson series I was just going to buy the first one (which was like £3 something on Amazon, but then I went on The Book Depository and saw the five, in a box set, all matching and perfect AND LOOK AT THE IMAGE THE SPINES MAKE. It was £18 something. How could I not? Besides, it would've cost me £20 something I think buying them separately, and I didn't like the covers.
Now, let's move onto the THRONE OF GLASS SERIES. I have read them. Except The Assassins Blade because I don't think I can handle that right now. I am happy and sad and confused and holy Celaena. I ALSO HAVE A SIGNED COPY OF HEIR OF FIRE! And yes, if they decide to do a box set of these, I will be buy it. It's only logical.
I had meant to make this short. *shrugs*
Nope, I am not linking these separately. My brain would die.
- The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan
- Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas
What did you get this week? :)
