Stacking the Shelves (#53) & Recap

So, how was everybody's week? It's been a slow-ish week here, everyone in the UK, enjoying the heat? I hate the sun. And the heat. I'm a total winter person, because I'm pale and I burn. Learnt something this week. I sound like an idiot on the phone, but I have an interview, so you know, I'm okay with that. Also, I'm not alone!

Now, onto the books...

Had a few awesome surprises in the mail, one I'm freaking out about, even though I did get approved for the ebook last week, it just showed up in the mail this week. I didn't think I'd get one since Abrams and Chronicle brought a lot of proofs to YALC last week. But Tina (@TinaMories) at A&C is awesome.

You got a nice stack of books this week. I see a lot of beautiful books. The Jewel has a pretty cover. The Cure for Dreaming looks really good.

Eeekkk, The Cure for Dreaming!!! I can't wait to read it :) The Jewel looks really interesting too, I think I saw it on EW, I may have to go download a copy!

I'll trade you sun for my freezing days. I'm sooo tired of winter. And I have Italian-ish skin so I never burn. summer is for MEEEE!! *ahem* Also your books look awesome. I'm too curious about The Jewel now. x) I'm with you on the phone though. It's really really hard for me, I need to eyeball a person as well. ;)

I absolutely hate the heat. I've actually avoided the summer for the past two years because I go to college in the winter and I return home when it's the summer where it's winter! I can't say I'm complaining about that. :)
The Cure for Dreaming looks like an amazing read and I'm curious as to what people will think of it. Cat Winters is great.
And woo for Legend! I adore that series! :)

Cure for Dreaming! <3 I just picked up Shadow of Blackbirds from the library while I wait for that to come out. I'm intrigued by The Jewel, too. The Legend series is one of my favorites. Great haul! I hope you love them!

Ooh, I loved Legend!! Marie Lu is my favorite. Have fun reading the Jewel too! It sounds so good, I can't wait to read it. I haven' read in the Shadow of Blackbirds yet, but I really want to.
