This week has been pretty uneventful and a short haul- hopefully I'll be able to make a dent in the TBR this week. :) But ugh, for the first time ever The Book Depository has been a bitch to me. My The Forever Song pre-order has only just been sent and I was hoping to read it this weekend but obviously that's not going to happen and IKEFIASDF. Unfair.

I saw a huge banner/poster/screen/thing for Fangirl in a train station today!! I really need to buy that book but I've heard mixed reviews about Rowell's other book, Eleanor & Park, which deals with race in a kinda dodgy way, so I'm hesitant.

Interested to see what you think of Fangirl!

I've seen FANGIRL around for so long, but never really check it out. But I've seen amazing reviews for that series! And I never heard of COMPULSION before, but I hope you enjoy it! :)

...so I totally just sat staring at the computer screen for a good minute trying to figure out what on earth IKEFIASDF would stand for. Then I realized it was just you mashing your keyboard and not an extremely long acronym hahaha

I've bought Fangirl some time back because one of my friend recommended it to me. I have yet to read it. Seems like an interesting read though. While waiting for The Forever Song, perhaps you can read some of your more recent purchases. :) Cheer up, it's weekend! Happy reading!

Compulsion sounds SOOOO good :) And the cover is lovely! Fangirl!!!!! I hope you enjoy it! It's probably one of my favorite new adult books that I've ever read! I loved the main character, and Levi and the story.. just *swoon*. I'm sure that's nothing you haven't heard before lol. Enjoy your books and have a lovely week ahead

These two books are very different, but equally compelling! I like the first one, "Compulsion", because it's darkly mysterious. I LOVE Gothic fiction (as long as it doesn't turn out to be horror in disguise)! As for "Fangirl", it sounds like a fun read, as well as a poignant one. I know the feeling of not being able to move on from a favorite book, or TV series, or movie. I don't think I'll EVER be able to move on from The Twilight Saga!!

Thanks for sharing these GREAT books, which are going straight onto my TBR shelves on Goodreads, and my Amazon wish lists!! Also, thanks for visiting and commenting on my own STS post!! : )

P.S. Sorry to hear you're having a problem with TBD. They're usually really good. However, I think it also depends where in the world you live. I'm in Miami, Florida, USA, and sometimes they do take a little too long delivering to me. Hope you get your book very soon!! : )

Thanks for stopping by. I know what you mean about the Vampire Diaries. I just found out LJ Smith has released some TVD fanfic on the kindle store that sort of continues from where she left off. I'd be interested in checking that out when I get up to that part of the series. Awesome that you got your hands on Fangirl. I read a couple weeks back and loved it just like everyone else has been. Hope you enjoy it too!
