Waiting on Wednesday (#82)

"Waiting on" Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases.

Expected publication: September 10th 2015 by Bloomsbury UK

Sarah J. Maas's New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series reaches new heights in this sweeping fourth volume.

Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she's at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past . . .

She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die just to see her again. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen's triumphant return.

Celaena’s epic journey has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. This fourth volume will hold readers rapt as Celaena’s story builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world

We don't have a cover yet, But who cares? AND I HATE YOU UK, 9 DAYS AFTER THE US RELEASE.

  10. I simply CANNOT wait for this one either! Heir of Fire was so good and the ending was brutal without the next book right after it to read! My WoW - http://blueeyebooks.blogspot.com/2015/02/waiting-on-wednesday-12.html

  13. OH. MY. GOSH. I saw that the page count of this book was greater even than Heir of Fire, and I pretty much fainted with happiness (not that I'm a fainter). I CANNOT wait for this book to come out. I NEED MORE CELAENA + CHAOL MOMENTS. THEY ARE MY SHIP. I think you should visit the US on the day Queen of Shadows comes out, then read it on the plane home haha.

    1. RIGHT? I'll read lots and lots, don't care. THERE HAS TO BE. Especially since being apart in HoF and now Chaol's got his shit together. IT HAS TO HAPPEN. Haha, I totally would if I could. ;) Hopefully Bloomsbury will have it up on Netgalley early. (Like yesterday, please, Bloomsbury?) Because September = NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

  16. UGH THIS IS MY FIRST TIME READING THE BLURB!!! It sounds like a last novel, but I know there's 3 more and it MAKES ME SO NERVOUS BECAUSE THINGS CAN'T BE HAPPY. (I mean, also it's Maas, so of course it wouldn't be happy)

...you know what I just thought of? What is life going to be like post ToG? This series is just as long as the Harry Potter series...it's like the Harry Potter series of my 20s.
