Stacking the Shelves (#69) & Recap

So, how was everybody's week? Mines been...interesting. I was really ill Sunday night, started being sick around 8.30PM, come 10PM I was being sick every couple of seconds, and it literally didn't stop until 12PM Monday afternoon, so I got no sleep at all, wasn't keeping water down, my face looked like I had an allergic reaction to something, so had to go up the doctors as soon as they were open and I was dehydrated, if I would've left it any longer it would've been a hospital trip for a drip. Luckily, the anti-sickness tablets and rehydration salts worked quickly. Even if they were disgusting. It's almost been a week and I still feel like crap, haven't really eaten anything and don't really want to go through that again anytime soon.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Conspiracy and Blood and Smoke!!!! OMG, I am SOOO excited for that book!!! I'm heading over edelweiss right now and downloading me a copy!! Great haul this week, Kirsty!!

Thank you! :) Yup, now I can finally get to reading properly again. I usually read through anything as a distraction and generally read more when I'm ill but just couldn't concentrate, felt completely drained and too much effort, haha. I've been on the same book for like a week, finally finished it last night though, whoo.

Aw :/ I hope you feel better. On the plus side, you got books :D But seriously though, feel better and keep drinking lots of water and get nutrients for your body.

I hope you're feeling better soon. I had that same sickness a few weeks ago and it was awful. It looks like we got some of the same books this week. Last minute jackpot on Edelweiss ;) Relax and enjoy your books!

Thank you! Right? It's awful, it usually takes a lot for me to be sick usually. Ha, yup, I went on there Friday night and then OH JACKPOT. ;)

Oh that sounds like the WORST. Ughhhh. But you're coming out of it now? Which is good, but oh how horrible. I absolutely hate being sick. It's like having the life sucked out of you sometimes, it really is. I'm glad it didn't get fair enough with the dehydration to need a drip though. GET BETTER SOON, OKAY?!

It was, and yup I am, thankfully. It wouldn't have been so bad if I could keep water down but yeah, couldn't, so knew something was wrong. Funny though, went up there, the doctor checked me over and was like "I don't want you on a drip yet..." WAY TO SCARE PEOPLE. Thank you! :)

Aw, you poor thing! I hope you get feeling back to normal soon - it sounds like you had it really bad. I'm so happy to hear you're on the road to recovery though :) On the plus side you have some mighty fine company (the books I mean)! I've been seeing 99 Days around a lot and just clicked on the link - it looks so good! I hope you enjoy all your books!
