Aww, DNFing Salvage and The Last Best Kiss? I haven't picked up Salvage yet, but I was hoping it's awesome. :( I really loved The Last Best Kiss, though. I can see why Anna would bother you, however, since she's pretty much a jerk at the beginning.

Well, at least you didn't waste your time and got to move on to better books! :D

Out of all of them, Salvage was the worst for me, I wanted to at least try and get to 50%, but nope. Couldn't do it. I try not to DNF but all the other books...
Oh man, I read and finished all of these. I actually loved Salvage so much. I kind of understand with the others. Lol.

I did hear that it got better but I guess I just wasn't in the mood for it. I'll have to go back and try it again sometime. :)
I'm sorry the books weren't for you. I confess I was intrigued by the Armstrong book but I see many quite mixed reviews so I think I'll pass.

Yeah, I think a lot of people have said they prefer her adult books than YA. I kind of agree (not that I've read any of the adult books either) but I tried her other YA series, and nope. Couldn't do it.
Ok I just DNF'd Deep Blue finally but but I will be announcing my local bestie friend TINA who will be joining me for just reviews and I gave it to her last night and she is reading it.

She really enjoyed Salvage so do you ever write up your DNF thoughts? I'd be curious about them since she was singing it's praises to me.

I really want to read Sea of Shadows - don't know when I can get to it but hopefully I'll like it more than you.

Awh, shame. :( I did enjoy it, though there wasn't much going on. I do, but usually only when I've read at least half of it, and I only read a quarter of it and gave up. To be honest, I can't even remember much of it, haha.

I am currently starting Salvage and am thinking about putting it back on the shelf too, Not quite what I was expecting/what I like. I was going to keep reading and hope it got better, but I just don't know if I should bother. (glad it wasn't just me)

Wasn't what I was expecting either, but I mean, gorgeous cover, so I should have known really. Also, I think only a certain type of Sci-Fi is my thing, because I've been hating a lot of them recently.
"Me Tarzan. You Jane." *snickers* I've seen SO many negative reviews for Salvage I've basically just wiped it of my wish-list. >.< NOT going there at all. I'm still torn about Sea of Shadows, though. Such a beautiful cover...*strokes laptop screen*

I haven't read many reviews on it, but I did see some good ones, which made me want to read it in the first place, but don't get it. At all. You should try Sea of Shadows though, I've seen some good and bad reviews, but I was just bored with it...
I have all three of these...but haven't read any of them. I've not been great about keeping up with my TBR. What do you do? I'm probably going to skip Salvage and Sea of Shadows. I've just seen too many dismal reviews about both, but I still want to give Last Best Kiss a try...

Ohh, I've missed out on loads of May books because of others, this is why I'm DNF'ing or not even starting some because really, there's so many other books waiting... But yeah, that's why I did end up DNF-ing, I try not to read reviews before reading them myself but I do sometimes check the ratings, and the only reason I tried Salvage in the first place was because it 4. something at them time. Can't wait to see what you think of Last Best Kiss. :)
I made it to 50% of Sea of Shadows and let me tell you, it didn't get better. It actually got even slower towards the middle of the book D: Have heard bad things about Salvage so I'm not going to even try, haha. Last Best Kiss is completely new to me but I'll probably be avoiding that too. There's not enough time to sit around and read less than stellar books :)

Yup, didn't think it would, haha. There is not, and I was done torturing myself, especially when there's some many more waiting for you...
