Booking Through Thursday: Imagery.


Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme, hosted by btt2, about (mostly) books and reading.


 
This ones interesting for me! So, when reading I really don't visualise much, I see the basics.  I concentrate more on the plot and the characters, their personalities, and stuff like that. But, when thinking back at things when writing a review, I can see the scene play in my head, the place, how the people look. I think I can then because I can process it all without worrying about following along, while reading I don't like processing every little bit because I get distracted.

I like having a picture in my mind while reading. Each book has its own unique feel so I can't really compare. But I like it when the faces are not shown on the covers of books :)

I see the basics too, I rarely really picture exact details unless they are being told to me at that exact moment. I actually find it kind of helpful when a character's face is on the cover, I can always go back to that.
