Really loved that parts of the book, and ...YES, DO! Really loved that parts of the book, and I mean, tons of drama, but most of that drama was to do with roles, so definitely realistic drama. I didn't know it was until I checked, because yeah, it definitely couldn't end there, BECAUSE THAT WAS NOT AN ENDING, and I really would've been pissed it was, ha. I actually didn't know what this one was about (I just knew that I liked the typography) and I'm not sure if I want to delve into this one. I'm scared enough already and I can only IMAGINE the amount of drama. I do not care about ballet. I do though kind of think the whole "ballet taking over your life" thing is kind of intriguing though. AND, I think we are pretty compatible, bookishly speaking, so... maybe I will give this a try! Great review :)

Shannon @ It Starts At Midnight Shannon @ It Starts at Midnighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10043593641190645773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-354969530325864924.post-10521132293668362282015-06-29T22:58:24.822+01:002015-06-29T22:58:24.822+01:00Dark, twisted and intense sounds right up my alley...Dark, twisted and intense sounds right up my alleybrandileigh2003https://www.blogger.com/profile/01669251993917961293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-354969530325864924.post-21736331351627946692015-06-29T22:34:51.261+01:002015-06-29T22:34:51.261+01:00I gave this one the same rating as well :D The cov...I gave this one the same rating as well :D The cover is so pretty, simply the font is enough for the cover. I liked that the book addressed a realistic situation in ballet with the unhealthy competition, this could have worked better as a standalone novel though - awesome review overall! <3 Benish | Feminist ReflectionsBeenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17718861012681693010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-354969530325864924.post-84850657660832652692015-06-29T20:45:05.726+01:002015-06-29T20:45:05.726+01:00When I first read the book's synopsis way back...When I first read the book's synopsis way back when, I decided this wasn't for me, but reading your review made me re-think that. I've read a few ballet books before and they all go pretty dark, but they weren't really my thing. I'm intrigued by the detail this book seems to go into about the profession, however, and I think I may have to check this one out.Preethihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08177050821319677040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-354969530325864924.post-21647987181951026082015-06-29T06:35:59.027+01:002015-06-29T06:35:59.027+01:00Argh I don't like ends like that but I can und...Argh I don't like ends like that but I can understand.
