I loved the message of hope that was sent out through this, and I hope teens who read it take it to heart. It definitely sounds like the kind of book that belongs in a school library; kids should know that there's always a tomorrow and with that a new opportunity to hope. Maybe because I really really like it and it struck me with a chord. Like you said, this book focuses on being hopeful and finding the strength to fight depression. That is very important for me. I don't really mind tragic endings, but I hope some authors would take the route of this book if ever they'll write about depression in young adults. Depression is very hard to peruse and understand, but this book had a very unique approach to it that I am very thankful for. Great review! Although, the premise disturbed me a lot - I did find it intriguing enough, I did like both characters though, Roman's story was heartbreaking.
